CTIA Announces American Tower as New Member

CTIA® announced American Tower Corporation has joined the Association and Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Tower Division Steven Marshall will serve on CTIA’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

WASHINGTON – CTIA® announced American Tower Corporation has joined the Association and Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Tower Division Steven Marshall will serve on CTIA’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

“CTIA represents the entire mobile ecosystem and I’m excited to have an industry leader like American Tower join us as we focus on enhancing the mobile infrastructure of the United States. Steven’s leadership and insights will be invaluable across a range of important issues, particularly as we work to build out 5G infrastructure in the U.S. and connect more communities to innovative, next-generation wireless technologies,” said Meredith Attwell Baker, president and CEO, CTIA.

Founded in 1995, American Tower is one of the largest global real estate investment trusts (REITs) and, with a portfolio of over 40,000 towers in the United States, is a leading independent owner, operator and developer of multitenant communications real estate.

Mr. Marshall has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including leadership roles around the globe. He has served in his current position at American Tower Corporation since 2009.
