CTIA Statement on FCC Wireless Telecommunications Bureau Chief Announcement

After the FCC announced Wireless Telecommunications Bureau Chief Rick Kaplan would be stepping down and Ruth Milkman will succeed him, I said:

"We want to thank Rick Kaplan for his efforts over the last three years. He played an important role in moving forward many key wireless issues that will have a lasting impact on the industry and consumers. We are happy that the Chairman has chosen Ruth to take control of the Bureau, as she has proven to be a thorough, thoughtful and effective leader on wireless issues. We expect that there will be a seamless transition on the many issues before the Bureau."
